My mom gave Brian and I this Christmas Catcus.... years and years ago!! I think she gave it to us our first married Christmas!! And I am horrible with indoor plants. So this poor plant have been forgotten, unwatered for weeks, and left in the corner.
A couple of months ago I put it outside to get some light and rain.... in the mean time it had just enough cool weather to start the plant to begin blossoming!!! I was soo excited.... so this year my Christmas Catcus looks alive with beautiful blossoms this year for Thanksgiving:)

Its beautiful!! Thanks for sharing the pics with me. i love the Jesus plaque in the background.
I am just like you. I do not have what is called the green thumb. For this reason I also only have a few plants at my home. Last year when my parents, sister and me have been in holidays for a week I gave my neighbor the keys in case that something happened and when I came back my plants were looking much better. LOL
