Tattered Beauty

This beautiful butterfly flew by us yesterday morning..... we watched it play and then land on our flowers:) It was only after I snapped the pictures that I realized how tattered the butterfly was..... in the air though, you would have never noticed.... it floated in the breeze and played in the lantana:)

I guess there are all sorts of spiritual lessons from this tattered beauty.... may we call out to God when we're feeling "tattered" and have Him lift us up to soar....and to enjoy all the blessings we have around us.

Butterflies are my favorite.

Lately, I have been feeling like a tattered butterfly. What a beautiful thought! Thank you for sharing...

That tattered old butterfly is at the end of his "season". He already survived the catepillar stage, reborn into a flying creature, hopefully hooked up with a beautiful female and now will be the father of many offspring he'll never see. But he is dying now and yet still enjoying what little strength he has left on your lantana. May we also enjoy the life God has given us, no matter what "season" we are in and how "tattered" we look.
