Another Haircut

Chris' hair has been getting very large:) We want it neat and shorter, but it's always a challenge to cut it..... maybe we should consider a barber.... but the way he is at home, I couldn't imagine him in public:)

Total Tantrum.....
even drops his candies (a "distraction"- at least we hoped)
See the candies in the air (pretty cool)!!

Are we done yet?

All Smiles:) And he looks sooo cute:)

Soo, in the end everyone is happy....Christopher is away from the scissors,Mom and Dad are thankful his hair is shorter and the girls were glad they got some candies, too:) And this experience was very good because Brian and I really kept our cool and didn't let the screaming and thrashing bother us.... one time we were even smiling and laughing, joking about getting it on video for the blog ;) Oh, and it's a pretty good haircut!!!

Man with all the thrashing he did I'm surprised you didn't clip those ears. Good job Brian and Kelly for keeping your cool!! And the haircut does look cute.

I'm very impressed with the haircut! The candies (or maybe some discipline?) must have eventually worked! Good work.

He's a doll---so cute! Great-Grandma says Granddaddy was just like that when he was a little boy and she took him to get haircuts. She tells the story of how people were lined up on Broad Streed looking in the window of the barber shop while he had his hair cut!

haha. it does look cut tho! taites is way long. but i cant cut it.. i love it long :-) me holding onto that baby side of him. i do trim the bottom and around the front some.. his bangs are way long tho.. may trip it soon... he doesnt notice im cutting it tho... i notice out of the shower works well (while the hair is wet) and in front of a mirror.. so hes normally distracted by the mirror and r unning sink water.

OH Kelly, I do understand!! Surely I've told you about Isaac along the way? When we were still at McDowell I was cutting his hair outside and he was screaming so badly that people came running out thinking someone had gotten hurt on the playground! Nope, just my kid getting a haircut.

I never know that cutting a kids hair could be this difficult.

Anyway, He is handsome :)
