House Update : Saturday at the Lot & a Foundation

Saturday we ventured to the lot to work on clearing a bit of land for the electric company! We were thankful and surprised to find progress!!

It was beautiful to be outside! And tromp through the woods.

All the sounds of the different birds in all the trees and even the roaring of the chainsaw as Brian cleared a little patch was nice... the sound of a Saturday!

On Monday evening, we had our first friend visitors at the lot and we saw the start of the FOUNDATION.... yippeeee!!

And on Tuesday, Brian saw the completed foundation!

So now we wait on an inspection (i think) and OUR HOUSE!!

With praise and thanks
they sang this song to the LORD:

“He is so good! His faithful love for Israel endures forever!”
Then all the people gave a great shout,
praising the LORD because the foundation
of the LORD’s Temple had been laid. Ezra 3:11

Our house is NOT the temple of the Lord.... but it will be the place we praise and serve God by serving one another. But we fill a similar feeling of joy and a desire to give thanks....

We are thankful for this new stage!! Thankful we now have a foundation! And praising God for how good He is for this wonderful new home we will be in.... in time;)

Consider sharing your kids' funny, sweet or insightful words with us next week on Tiny Talk Tuesday;)

Yay, progress!!! It's interesting that they use concrete blocks instead of a poured foundation. Is that the norm there? I don't think I've ever seen that here.

What is your estimated move date?
