But what happened to the playground???
The kids didn't seem to notice...
as they entertained themselves with jumping, chasing
and collecting some rocks out of a hole.
At least they have a little humor;) We thought this was funny!
But seriously, where are all the outdoor playgrounds going??

Playgrounds are "too dangerous" for kids now-a-days. They might get a boo-boo, and then someone could sue, and then our Whopper will cost $10!! lol I love the Pull sign too!
Huh, we don't have any outside play areas around here but still have ones indoors in some of the Burger King and McD's. I honestly hate letting my girls go in them tho cuz all the germs that must be in those enclosed plastic tubes. Eww! lol :p
Aww. So sad. We don't have any in our town, but maybe once chickfila is built.
Hi!
Yep, a law suit just waiting to happen. Great snapshots. Have a great day!

Food for Thought
was this the one in williamston? i did hear they tore it down because a girl fell or something and got really hurt. who knows tho!
We still have some, but I think a lot of parents "drop" their kids and fail to supervise them. They the parents are upset if something goes wrong.
You kids certainly did fine without the equipment. These are wonderful photos.
That's insane! I agree with others that it's too much of a lawsuit factor to keep them open. Parents do not watch their children anymore and nothing is ever their fault.
It's very sad these days when owners of playgrounds are sued.
