An Update on Lucky

Some have asked what happened to our little stray kitten... who we named Lucky.

Our kids found her about two weeks ago. We kept her overnight but found who she "belonged" to the following afternoon. Wanting to do the "right thing" by getting this tiny kitten to her Momma and return someone's kitten, we returned Lucky while little tears flowed from kids' eyes (especially one little boy)!!

But we soon found out that one of younger neighbors had adopted Lucky. And that they had brought her to the vet. Indeed this little kitten was very Lucky to have an adopted family (and some neighborhood kids who also adore her).

Kids playing with Macy

This week Lucky, now called Macy, paid us a visit. Do you recognize her??

Lucky returns as Macy

The kids were delighted to spend time playing with her...
I loved taking pictures of all them with the adorable kitten:)

Lydia and Macy

I can't believe Macy's eyes! When I cleaned them after being matted they were both pointed outward soo far... I really worried that she'd have permanent damage or problems...
Sweet Eyes

but they are perfect!

thankful Macy has a good home and that we can enjoy the visits :)

You Capture @ I Should Be Folding Laundry this week is WHITE.
I think what makes little Lacy stand out soo much is the patches of white fur:)

If only they could stay kittens forever...so cute! I love how your photographs captured the sweet texture of a kitten's fur. Lucky, indeed!
