We went out to dinner with the VBS mission team last night. It was fun:) Mealtimes are always busy with 4 kids, so we had more opportunity to talk after the meal when the kids were busy playing at the outdoor park ...
or riding the rollercoaster with Daddy!
LOL!! I knew there was a reason we don't take him out much :)
And today was WATER Day at VBS.... a very good thing since it was HOT, HOT, HOT outside!! I used the opportunity to practice using the zoom I purchased with my camera... better than getting my camera soaked;)
Here are my keepers...
It was great practice:) I got some other great shots that we'll get to use for our finale slideshow that we all look forward to on Friday night;)
It's been a great VBS week!!! The kids have loved going in the mornings.... has made our whole morning routine TV-free which I hope I can continue into next week and into our morning routine for good:)
I have loved helping (the little bit I have done) the team minister to the students coming every day!! The kids of our community are awesome! And I'm soo thankful that they were willing to come out every morning!! The teens are serving and leading in a couple activities.
The middle group is working hard on their lessons.
And the little ones are busy with all sorts of fun in their class too;)
Which leads me to the VBS Team from VA!! They ROCK... did I mention they were a Senior Group?? You'd never know that most are retired if you looked at all they have done each morning with the kids and each afternoon preparing:) They have been such an encouragement to me and have loved on my kids:)
It's been a very fun week:)
Linking up to Weekly Wrap-up;)

What a great week!
LOL, goofy picture I love it. And your sons red hair is beautiful. I love red hair!
LOL at Dad! How fun! Those little boats are adorable!
It's always good to see Lidia grinning!
Serving outside your community at another church's VBS is something I recommend that every Christian do. My youth group served in a suburb of Atlanta, Ga. when I was 16 and it was just as much a blessing to me as we (hopefully) were to them. I love to see retired members still actively serving and mentoring the younger generation.
