In Christ Alone

This Easter is very different for us!

Our past traditions fade into sweet memories, we ponder new ideas for our family. And are enjoying spending time with family that we usually don't get to see at Easter!

As I have been fighting this feeling of being "displaced", one of my favorite worship songs have brought my heart back to the message of Easter...

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.                                                              Romans 5: 6-11

Praying that you would know the amazing love of Christ seen in His Sacrifice of himself and the amazing hope in power of Christ as He defeated death!

And looking forward to starting new traditions that bring our hearts closer to the Lord through the Easter season.

That's a favorite here as well, and we sang it in church this morning. Have a blessed Easter!

I'm a bit late - but I just had to smile, because my Easter post looks like a total copycat! :) This is one of my favorite songs as well and was really on my hear this season, so I posted one of my favorite videos of it. :)

Great minds think alike. I love it. :)
