SOOC: Note From His Teacher, Last Pool Time?

While tidying up the house I found this note;)
Funny to get notes from Chris' "teacher" (aka his big sister)
And we got outside this week and into water with a history assignment (explanation will be in our "weekly wrap-up"). Kind of sad to think of our "pool time" as the last until next summer! Just thankful to have a little sun during this cloudy, rainy week!
The real-ness of this picture was funny to me.
The girls both smiling while holding their little escaping brother's shirt!! And he wasn't happy about it;)

Wishing we were here......
Phew.... it's been HOT again!! Ok, I'm totally not going to complain because it is SUMMER and believe it or not I still get chilly indoors in the summer;) And if I didn't have Little Nate with us, we'd be out a little more.
Still we'd love to be back at the pool...

It's fun even with an Uncle Eric lurking around.... he FINALLY has people to mess with who cry "more, Uncle Eric, more"! Versus us growing up.... "Eric, stop!!!" LOL!!

Chris learned to block him:)
He got bored with the little ones and went after the BIG fish:)

So we're hoping the 2 weeks Grammie and Pey are at work goes by quickly!! And we'll be back at "our" pool soon;)

Another Fun day at the Pool:)
We went to see my parents again on Monday:) They had my dad's sister and husband visiting... so we went up to see them and spend the day at the pool:) BUT... I forgot my camera.... :groan:
So I used my mother's camera to get a very few pictures. And to get Chris doing a canon ball off the divingboard... seriously, the child has NO fear! And he is ALL over the pool:)
The girls take a little longer to warm-up to the water. In no time Anna was jumping into the shallow end with NO waterwings. By the end of our afternoon at the pool, Anna was sticking her head under the water trying to swim:) She's sooo close!!! Grammie is already hoping we can make a few more visits so Anna will be swimming by the end of the summer:)
Lydia got brave, too, by jumping off the divingboard in Daddy's arms:) We don't think she liked it:) The highlight of trip for her was seeing and holding Hannah Grace again. She loves holding Hannah Grace and I so do I:) Hannah Grace is such a doll baby:)

On the Mend and a Gross Tub Surprise
It's really warm here today.... so we broke out the pool even with two having slight fevers:) Anyway, it was much needed to have a "normal" outside day. Besides Lydia NOT wanting to swing and being a little fussy, everyone seemed back to normal.

Well I bet you guessed from the title what the surprise was:) The funniest thing was Lydia's reaction... she did the deed, but when she saw the "stinky" there at her feet she kind of jumped and ran to the other end of the tub :)
I have a picture of the deed(Daddy thought it was a too little gross to post) with Christopher just staring at it... he thought it was soo funny!! Too bad I didn't "catch" her in action and have her do it on the potty.
Each day is a blessing with all sorts of unknown surprises!!! One HUGE blessing today has been that the kids are feeling better...lower fevers and more playing:)

Anna anticipating the splash at the end of the slide:)
