Day "Date"

Brian and I took off about mid-morning "kid-free". The kids got to spend the morning and afternoon with Grandma and Grandaddy at the park:)

Brian chased after a dream for a little while..... my husband who once totally stripped and then rebuilt a VW bug confessed that he's always wanted to own a little Jeep mail truck. And there one was waiting for him at the post office:) He got to test drive it and DREAM....

maybe after the PhD is finished and the kiddies are alittle older...

Then we revisited a Book Sale.... we set a limit to how much time we were going to spend browsing... but we BOTH walked out with some sweet deal.... I picked up enough to supplement homeschool preschool at a FRACTION of the cost of ONE month of preschool:)

THen we hit some good clearance racks at the mall, ate a HOT meal (most of my meals are luke warm by the time everyone is served)and just relaxed. We will confess that we did eat lunch the food court watching kids and parents....

THANKS Grandma and Grandaddy:)

Just For Fun!!!

A Day at the Aquarium

Exploring the aquarium with The Fam today... there was soo much to look at and do:)

The last time we went to this aquarium, I was pregnant with Christopher and had a little 16-month Anna running around. We have a treasured family photo of that visit, so we made sure to take another with the additions:)

Fun with a Card

Grandma has some musical birthday cards laying out and the kids have decided that they make good dancing songs. I just think it's soo funny when they dance.....Lydia is a cute little bouncer, Anna is just silly and Christopher....hmmm.... he's a boy...

He's a boy and it was bedtime....nuff said.

Time with Gran-Grandma and Uncle Larry

We went to visit Brian's Grandma and Uncle Larry this evening. The kids got a very short nap during the car ride to their home, so they were a bit wild....

Christopher amused himself and the rest of us with a rubber exercise tension code-thingy. He found it as he was folding Gran-Grandma's special electric Lazy-Boy in half.... anyway, he started pulling a letting it go so it's make a LOUD snap noise....so for his entertainment we all had to cover our ears and watch the master at work.

Our attempt at a "family" picture.... we had a long day

Anna showing affection to Gran-Grandma and being silly!

Grandma was tired before we got there, so I KNOW she was tired when we left. But we did have a good meal and visit. Can you believe Grandma will be 100 yrs old in less than 6 months??
