WW: Our Disney Pics... finally:)

We had a great time at Disney World with the family the week before Thanksgiving. And let me tell you it's the PERFECT time to go... no/short lines, great weather, fireworks at night (Epcot) and Disney World decorated for Christmas;)

We THANK Grandma and Grandaddy for taking all of us!!! We had a great time and it's soo sweet to hear the kids talk about all the fun they had and things they saw and did:)

You can find some other picture posts at Wordless Wednesday, 5 Minutes for Mom and Go Graham Go!!!

Vacation Pics

I'm never sure how much to share when it comes to vacations:) We did have a good time though....

We visited with friends... The first day we visited one of Brian's college friends... she's got a couple more parenting boys years than us... so it was soo great to see Tiffany and her family. Then on Thursday we headed into Western, Western NC to visit some sweet church friends from Grandaddy's former church... they are basically extended family since Brian's family served there for almost 20 years:) One sweet lady is Miss Gail... she is a blog-reader and totally blessed the kids with all sorts of toys that kept them busy at the house.

Friday we went into Cherokee, NC to the Indian village:) And then we did our little hikes. Both Mingo Falls and Soco Falls are simple and short hikes... perfect for families with little ones, although they both were steep.

Saturday we went to Santa's Land. I know.... we were very hesitant to go since we are NOT Santa people... but the amusements they had were very little kid-friendly... a little train, animals, little rides, snack bar and some playgrounds.

Sunday we went to church. Ate lunch out:) And then napped and rested. I had picked up a book from the cottage's owners' collection, I was determined to read the whole thing but the time we left... so I spent the afternoon reading (ok, and some napping). It was a rainy afternoon... so it was a perfect day to rest:)

Monday was had another rainy/cloudy day, so we drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to get to some outlets:) It was a pretty ride even in the cloudiness:) And we picked a couple fun deals;)

We stayed busy and then crashed at home. It was a fun vacation and a fun area to visit. We hope we can make another trip out there again soon!!

Family B-day Celebration

We had Grandma and Grandaddy this weekend and then some friends coming over for a party/playdate on Friday morning... but today her actual birthday, we celebrated with a "quiet" lunch together:)

During the brownie eating, everyone shared what they liked the most about Anna. I got this idea from the Mouro family! I wanted to share what Chris and Lydia said because it was soo cute:)

Chris said, "I really like Anna." And I asked Why... and he said, "because I love her."

Lydia immediately answered, "She doesn't hit me." LOL... Chris has been hitting Lydia (with her usually responding back with a hit). Anna immediately understood:)

Finally.... Our Trip Pics

Well I finally just put the pictures in a montage:) Better than just doing picture posts until Christmas!!

All of the pictures are from our afternoon together at the park.... the weather after than afternoon got too cold and windy for us to enjoy anymore time outside!

I also had a few swimming pics but they weren't too exciting:) The kids all still like to swim. Lydia was too tired to swim Monday night at 9pm!!! LOL But on Tuesday morning the kids were back in the pool by 9:15am!! They love the pool (and Anna loves the hot tub):)

Enjoy your last weekend before Christmas:) We're having my parents come down tomorrow. And during our PM service we are having our Christmas contata and hopefully the kids will sing.... hopefully they'll gte up there and do it:) I also plan to sing with the choir... so we have a busy Sunday PM:)

My Kiddies, Chris' 3rd Birthday!!!!

Today we have a birthday.... so it's a great opportunity to be thankful for our children!!! Sure, there are some days I'm wishing bedtime to be a little earlier:) And when checking on them before we head to bed, I think, "They have halos at night.... the only time during the day when their halos will stay on because they are still enough"... LOL

Even in the choas and noise, I am soo thankful for my sweet kids, recognizing that they are a gift from God!!! I even have limits on what I can keep them from, but God gave them to us and protects them constantly!!! I am thankful for the ablilty to care for them, teach them, guide them and love them:) And I'm continually praying for God's wisdom in raising and teaching them:)

For each of the kids I have made a montage of some of our favorite pic amd memories to celebrate their birthday. So if you have the time, celebrate our Little Man's Life with us by watching him grow these last 3 years:)

Why were outside at 7:30AM!!!!!!

Yes, it snowed again in our area!! But this was a snow.... it actually started showing on the ground and the kids were jumping out-of-their-skin to get outside in the snow!!! So Brian and I dressed them in layer after layer after layer and then we headed outside:)

Makes Christmas seem so much closer:)

Biking & Splash Morning

Here's a collection of biking and splashing pictures and video... there was plenty of fun!!!

I thought I would have regretted having them get SOAKED.... but they needed baths today anyway. And by the afternoon our front puddle has dried up :( Between the great puddle and the beautiful high 70's weather.... it was a great morning for puddles:)

As you might have been able to tell from the pics, Lydia wasn't too crazy about being splashed by her siblings... but she eventually started to jump in the puddle was well!!!
